Phipps Plaza

Eberly & Associates is providing Land Planning, Civil Engineering and Landscape Architecture services for the redevelopment of the Belk Portion of Phipps Plaza, including the demolition of 170,000 s.f. and the relocation of the Fire Station into a multi-building mixed-use center.

The proposed fire station will be accessed from Longleaf Drive, an existing private street near the existing loading dock at Phipps Plaza Mall. The Fire Station will have three enclosed equipment bays and staff facilities for personnel on duty including a weight-room, upgraded kitchen and movie-theater chairs. The fire station will be similar to the old fire station at Phipps Mall and will be located under the existing parking deck.

In keeping with the luxury brand of the mall, the new 12-story tower will include a Lifetime Athletic Club, Nobu Hotel and restaurant and office space.

The redevelopment will also includes a new bus drop off and for the Legoland location, a new food court, and outdoor event space.
