Civil Engineering and Landscape Architecture services for the renovation of the exterior of Wellstar North Fulton Hospital’s main entrance. The renovation included columns, canopy and building façade.

Our landscape architects designed 3,050 s.f. of landscape which includes a water feature in front of the entrance. The new water features welcomes employees and patients alike. Our team integrated grade change with ramping and stairs resulting in seamless and safe transition from the parking area to the hospital entrance. The water feature provides a calm place of respite from the main hospital. The area includes unique and varying finishes and concretes as well as seating for those enjoying the space.

Eberly & Associates provided programming services prior to full civil engineering and landscape services for the 7,000 s.f. expansion to the Wellstar Douglas Hospital Emergency Department.

The expansion required reconfiguration of parking and drive aisle. Utilities in the expansion area were re-routed to accommodate the proposed construction.

The building and site were repurposed to transition from a church hall to a nonprofit medical clinic. Design included selective onsite demolition, updating the site to meet ADA regulations for parking and pedestrian access, grading, drainage, utility, and bioretention pond design. The team worked with the owner to provide value engineering services to stay within the budget and grant requirements.

New 30,000 s.f. Child Development Center on a small site adjacent to the hospital parking deck. The center, available to children of staff, is designed with separate and secure access for the hospital staff and non-staff pickup and drop-off.

Eberly & Associates provided civil engineering and landscape architecture services for the Phase I, 3-story expansion along the hospital’s east side. The expansion added 27 emergency examination rooms and three trauma rooms. The additional floors above serve as patient floors that include in-room dialysis, observation beds, medical surgery, and private in-patient rooms. The expansion required the relocation of the helipad, rerouting emergency vehicle ingress and egress, and the addition of on-grade parking.

In anticipation of future development, the site development team used 3-D video modeling to analyze different landing pad locations. The site was chosen since it offered the most flexible options for the future. Emergency vehicle access was re-routed to the new entrance with attention to separate patterns for employee and visitor traffic patterns.

A new 29-space lot was located to minimize grading, tree relocation within an optimum distance to entry.

Eberly & Associates provided programming services for the new Correll Pavilion (Center for Advanced Surgical Services) at Grady Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. Located on the campus, the new standalone center will be connected to the main facility with pedestrian bridges and provide the majority of the clinical services and all outpatient surgeries for their growing patient population.

Our team was subsequently selected to provide civil engineering for design through construction for the 232,200 s.f. Correll Pavilion, skywalk bridge, and an approximately 348,400 s.f. parking structure accommodating 660 parking stalls.
