The Westminster School Masterplan Implementation, Atlanta, GA

The Westminster School’s new master plan has the goal of improving campus facilities to create a more integrated learning environment. Phase I of the implementation included Campbell Hall Renovation, Hawkins Hall addition, new Community Plaza & Stadium Improvements, a new Westminster Center, West Campus Parking Garage and Central Energy Plant upgrades including chilled water lines across campus.

This phase also included enabling projects to create safe environment for the students during construction. These enabling projects included the installation of 16 learning cottages with circulation pathways, the conversion of the tennis courts into surface parking with safe and efficient vehicular circulation.

The Westminster Center creates a welcoming front door to the campus housing administration services such as admissions, office of advancement and community programs hosted at the school. The center also has classrooms for upper school students.

Campbell Hall Renovation & Hawkins Addition updated the classroom building and added 26,000 s.f. of study and social space and a café to add food service options for students, faculty and staff.

A 29,000 s.f. Community Plaza and new concession area was added adjacent to the stadium and serves as space to host events and offers another community gathering space to support learning in and out of the classroom.
