October 2, 2011Ponce City Market Project Gets the Party Started
Green Street Properties, a subsidiary of Jamestown Properties, marked its 10th anniversary and launched the mixed-use redevelopment of City Hall East into Ponce City Market with Party at Ponce on October 1.
The event featured guided tours of the former City Hall East before construction renovation starts this fall, as well as Atlanta music stars Indigo Girls, Shawn Mullins and Francine Reed. Food was served by some of Atlanta’s best chefs and the event benefited Atlanta BeltLine Partnership and Georgia Organics.
Jamestown Properties bought City Hall East for $27 million and will invest $180 million to make Ponce City Market a center of commerce. Eberly & Associates provided civil engineering on this unique urban redevelopment which stands at the crossroads of the historic Old Fourth Ward and the Atlanta Beltline.
