Three E&A Projects Announced as ULI Excellence Award Finalists

Three of E&A projects were recently announced among seven finalists for the 2010 Urban Land Institute’s Development of Excellence Awards. The award ceremony and dinner will be held on September 16, 2010.

 

Piedmont Park's Greystone, the renovation fo the 1920's bathhouse and pool at the park was designed by Smith Dalia Architects and completed for its grand reopening in 2009. The
 
The Southface Energy institutes’ campus, designed by Lord Aeck and Sargent Architects, a LEED Platinum facility design to be on of the nation's most comprehensive and educational sustainable facilities.

 

White Provisions in west midtown is a mixed-used development by Weaver & Woodberry and designed Smith Dalia Architects and Square Feet Studio. The core of the project was the renovation of a 200,000 SF building built around 1910.

 

Both Piedmont Parks’ Greystone and the White Provision development projects were recently given awards by the Atlanta Urban Land Institute Design Commission for Development of Excellence in the area of adaptive re-use.
